No, my wife is not in any job. I am the only working person in the home. Does it mean that, I must have a job before my notice period / garden leave ends?
Yep, it means you must have a job at least 6 -7 months before the apply for ILR. Or your spouse gets a job.

Re: Date of first entry in UK in the spouse visa application

I am applying for a spouse visa; my wife and children are British citizens. We relocated to the UK in 2021 for permanent settlement. Prior to that, we used to visit during holidays every 3-4 years. In the spouse visa application, I am required to mention the date my children first entered the UK ...

Re: Traveling after the ceremony and before the passport

In law any visa you held is irrelevant, citizenship and right of entry/abode in the UK is your right. That doesn't mean that immigration systems are automatically updated, there is no seemless integration between immigration and nationality. You may still be questioned however you cannot be refused ...

Re: Applying US visiting visa from the UK

There's no way the consular officer would know if you're currently employed or not. Your current situation in the UK is stable enough for him/her to know that you'd be returning back here. TBH, the US consular officers don't really look at your documents in most cases. Except something piques their ...

Re: Clarification on travel frequency under a 5-year UK Standard Visitor Visa

Further to the above. If the officer decides to dig further and look at the application form, for the current visa. Would he find anywhere on that form that they'll be staying in the UK for multiple months? I bet when filling the form, they probably said 2-3 weeks visit at the time. If they can't be ...

I might be wrong, but not declaring a previous refusal is a grave error. He might be refused future non-immigrant visa based on this.

He's been caught in a big lie.

The next step that could easily succeed is, if he applies for a UK spouse visa. The initial lie "could" be disregarded.

What does he need to provide?
Nothing here as this doesn't really apply to him. This is primarily for those that have someone in the UK inviting them.

The form caters for all scenarios.

If they have no funds of their own (assuming). Do a mental sum in your head. Calculate what the tickets cost is for the pair of them. Not sure why people still write amounts in their countries currency. How do you expect people here to know what that is?
If I wrote something in Sudanese, Chinese, South African or Mexican Currencies, would you know what it is? The list is endless!!

Re: Zimbabwean in prison, Given deportation letter

A 13 year sentence is very serious offence. Even if he had ILR, that doesn't mean a thing. It can easily be revoked and he be deported.

To be fair, they have to protect the UK from foreign criminals. Have you seen what's been going on in the US lately?
That's kicking off here as well.

They simply attend the interview together, The visa centre normally bags them together.

Also, I believe there's a question that asks if you're travelling with anyone else. There's no merger concept as explained above.
