Re: First British passport - delay

My husband has the same timeline as you, documents received on the 18th and then processing. Since then, nothing. It seems to be very random since him and I submitted ours at the same time and mine was approved on Sunday and sent out today.

Re: Justification for sending other passports

Didn't they used to work together or am I just misremembering things? I seem to recall reading about combined citizenship/passport applications, so it just seems mad to separate things again. I didn't want to send mine off, but I did because I didn't want to delay further. The joint citizneship and...

I applied and did my biometrics back in November and I’m still waiting.. so you’re not alone. It seems like there’s a lot of people who applied in January that have already heard and it’s killing me!

From Settled Status to Citizenship

Hi all, Trying to get all my ducks in a row before becoming eligible for Citizenship later this year. We originally came to the UK in September 2014 and I was granted Settled Status as the partner of an EU citizen in November 2019. If I understand correctly, I'm only eligible to apply for citizenshi...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

We noticed that the evidence required to prove that the EEA national is a qualified person are "Payslips AND/OR bank statements". We are now thinking of sending the payslips only, and no bank statements at all, or perhaps the statements of the first 3 months only. I am wondering if there's anyone o...

Jen, can you share some details from your application? It seems you had everything sorted in 4 months... If you search my previous posts, I wrote a post about it when I received my RC. I will say that I applied just before they introduced the new form and the biometrics requirement so your mileage ...

billy.s1, I wouldn't be too worried about not getting a letter of acknowledgement - the COA is the important bit - but if you want to know what's going on, you can call 0300 123 2253.

Maybe it depends on what line of work you're in and what companies you're looking for work with. I got 2 job offers with my COA - both of which were with larger companies who had experience with the EEA thing.

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

I do not think FOI requests are useful. It doesnt change anything. They just keep repeating their irrelevant answers. Do you think we gonna lose out EU residences if we get EEA FP in UK? I have read that absence more than 6 months in 1 year is give reason them to cancel your EU family permit in mem...

Re: EEA2 Application Timelines - ONLY 1 TOPIC - UpToDate

Hello Guys Whats current waiting times at the moment? As I can see from posts it is between 3-4 months, isnt it? 77 working days is the average according to HO. Mine was processed at 79 days from when COA was issued. I am very curious what are they doing 77 working days long. It is not more than 2 ...
