Thanks Vivek for the details. I will have a look at the web site. Does anyone know if we can show 100% of the Limited Company's earning for Visa Extension or is it just 80% (i.e. minus tax deduction) please? This would mean can we withdraw 100% of dividends or not? - Angie You have to exclude tax (...

Nobody is too concerned about Americans However after a work permit your visiting permit kicks in. The time your work permit was valid does not go toward the time of your visiting permit. Do you have any references for this? It is not that I don't believe you, it's just that this has come up before...

Just because you don't use your company doesn't mean you have to strike it off. However all your finances and paperwork and taxes that should have been filed have to be in order and certain taxes proven to have been paid among other things. So it is not possible to advise you without you providing a...

I don't know if that's true and I have calculated that I need a minimum of £27000 of savings. Will i have a strong ground for application? ...

Apparently there is a strict key word search on CV's and if its not a perfect match they would drop you off the list no matter how extensive your experience is. Plus there is a limit of only 2-3 top CV's per agent for a job, they can't forward all. Some of it is also driven by prejudice - based on ...

Hi Ed This is really interesting. Dear members, I am looking for some advise on my personal situation. I am on Tier 1 General Visa and out of work. I got the first visa in Feb 2011 and have spent the last one year outside of UK. I am on a permanent payroll with my agency and I want to change job asap. Should I resign first and look for a job offer so my availability ...

Either you fulfil criteria or you don't.
You need to earn the amount for the period.
Adjustments won't work.
I wasnot kidding
I did the same in my first year and it worked but they get stricter every year.
