I'm with an opinion that he DOES NOT qualify for ANY of the citizenships, [/quote]

Contrary to this I think he is eligible for either citizenship.. British as his father is British or Indian via his mother (assuming she is still Indian)!

At Croydone one doesnt get to interact with the case worker at all so not sure which docs he/she actually looked at. My employer letters did have the actual start and end dates for the leaves.

I am no expert but I think your documents should be enough.

The clock for your 5 year period starts when you enter the UK first time after your visa is issued - if you didnt enter before 13/02/2009 how will you make the clock start earlier? Absences come into effect only after your clock starts so only after 13/02/2009 in your case.

I dont think it will make any difference. The max that can happen is that they will try to verify the info with the company and it will turn out to be true. So nothing to worry.

If the case worker decides to refuse solely based on past claims for council tax discount, I am sure the decision can be challenged in court as the immigrant has not commited any offense.

I agree with ukswus - the changes will affect all T1 (G) applicants but as mentioned in my post above is not applicable only if the absence was employment related? If you read all 3 points under 245CD-SD, i.e. a), b) & c) you’ll see it covers all types of absences. I.e. employment related absences,...

As you are on T1G it is not necessary to provide an explanation for any holidays (unless > 180 days). Just say "Holiday" as reason for absence.

If you are going for PEO, take all and submit only a few unless asked.

If you are applying by post, I would recommend use some that are issued at regular intervals, say, 6 months apart starting from the beginning of the 2 year period.

I tired to call up their customer support and they say they will not be able to give any information unless the application is more than 6 months old. So I think you will have to wait a bit more before u can track ur application.

I am pretty sure about not being able to apply for an extension from outside UK. The easiest way to verify this and what the solicitor has suggested would be to look for the actual form that you can fill and you should be able to find all of them on the VFS website for Pakistan. If you can find an e...

Again I am no expert in overstay matters, but it doesn't make sense that you had to stay as the project got extended. If it did and you were required, surely your company should have filed for an extension of your visa. Do you mean that you were illegally employed by your company even after the expi...

Extension applications cannot be applied from outside UK. You can "extend" your stay only if you are in the UK. You have 2 options: 1. If her current dependant visa expires before she can travel to UK then she will have to apply for entry clerance again at Islamabad (similar to the way she obtained ...

I recently got a extension approval at a PEO and the approval letter does not state the visa end date. You have to wait for your BRP.
