Re: remain in the UK on priavte life basis

i think, ur chances of success r very slim as u have not completed lawful 10 yr in uk. HO try their best to refuse most application, even most application with children who spend 7-8 years in uk r being refused by HO. I think, since ur case is not strong u should consult with some very very good law...

Re: Penalty Fare

Thank you to all who have replied so far. I seek your advice on a train penalty fare (£20). Is this counted against good character? Do I have to declare this? I don't remember if it is more than 12 months. Yes, Declare. Even if you r in doubt declare it. Declaring will not harm but not declaring wi...

Re: British citizenship for self but not for child

I think, if one ILR holder stay a long time out of UK 2year or so, he might lose the ILR. I read somewhere, but not too sure..wait until a guru confirm.. Hi, I am currently on ILR (and so are my wife and 3 year old son). I will be eligible for British citizenship next year. We intend to return to In...

Re: After ILR how soon i can apply for naturalization?

you can apply asap if you are married to BRITISH CITIZEN , otherwise you have to wait 1 year. I also read somewhere on this forums that if one own a house, then some lawyer take risk of using HO discretion by applying at 9 months, but i do not recommend it. if they refuse you lose all the fee.i also...

Is it the same for FLR(M) application , for english req? thank you Yes, PBS is for tier visas. But in your case, you are not using it for tier visa. You are just using it to check if the degree is accepted and gives 10 points if you were applying as a PBS migrant. If it gives you 10 points (imaginin...

I think it is very serious charges of deception, therefore consult few competent lawyers, for free or low cost advice, and see what they advise you. I think, most will say to re-consider or like Amber say, fight the deception charges. 10 Year=Decade is a long time and these days laws r becoming more...

I wonder how you will cope until next 5-10 month until you get the final approval, I heard that thousands of ppl applied in-order to avoid the new req of English requirent that were kicked in 28 Oct, so now all application will take much longer as HO is overbooked will flood of applications. l. Re: ILR refused

i think, u go for appeal and during appeal, u have to explain/prove the judge that u did whatever u could and any delay was not because of your own fault e. g in this case u never received the letter, so have chances of u winning the case. Judge used their common sense and judgement unlike HO who fi...

No mycanal1 you are incorrect there is no financial requirement as the OP's spouse will have transitional protection and this be evaluated under Part 8 of the immigration rules not Annex FM by virtue of rule 287(a)(i)(d). Amber, quick question, my wife has been student dependent since nov 2005 till...
