immigration/passport checks at Belfast Airport?

Hi, Quick question: has anyone got any experience of flying from UK mainland to any of Belfast airports? Is there any passport checks? It's a domestic flight so there shouldn't be, but I was wondering if they ask people upon arrival about their intention/reasons for traveling to Belfast or do they e...

I'm one of the infamous group of 06 applicants. I'm now heading to the 42nd month in waiting. After letters to the INIS, TD, the minister of Justice by myself and other entities, I'm still getting the same rubbish standard replies from officials at the INIS with the likes of "...a privilidge and no...

Thanks JB, Birth Certificate means is that the one which we sent with sworn self affidevit ? BDSK Whatever you send them has to have your parents name and date of birth. If it doesn't then I advise you to send back the affidavit form as well. DoJ sent that back to me with my certificate of naturali...

Mad. mine took about 39 months, and in the last 4-5 months of it they gave me the exact same answers that you are getting. I would be very optimistic that you WILL receive your approval within the next couple of months and certainly before March 2010. Don't stress over it too much, hopefully it'll b...

declaration of fidelity: is judge's signature sufficient?

Hi, I sent my declaration of fidelity back to INIS yesterday. When I took my oath in the court the judge signed the paper and they gave it back to me. Just checking: did other people have the same or did they also get the court to stamp it or anything like that? Mine was taken in district court in B...

document for cert of naturalisation: do I need to send passp

It says you need to send you "Travel Document (If Applicable)", does that mean travel document like that of refugees, or does it mean my actual passport from...

Re: Minster Decision

Well, definetely something wrong with March and Apr 06  Yeah, what's up with Mar/Apr '06 applications? I applied in April '06. In May '09 I was told that my application was ready to be sent to the minister, and that it should take 4-6 weeks. Still waiting... so frustrating! exact same here.

Re: Moving to Ireland in September

When entering on your British passport, you can go through the EU queue, and they will most likely let you in without asking any questions. In case they do ask, say that you will be looking for work. The only thing you cannot do is apply for welfare payments; otherwise you should be just fine. I do...
