Hello,

Can I just ask what date did you submit your SAR request? Thank you in advance.
I submitted request on 07/02/2023 and got a response back on 07/03/2023. Precisely on 20th working day of the request. I think legally they are obliged to respond to each request within 20 working day.

Re: Citizenship ceremony question

If the council booked you in already then they have your certificate. You will get the Home Office email in a few days - there have been posts where members got the email after the ceremony. I'm sure someone can confirm - but you application has been approved if the council got your certificate. Ta...

Re: Citizenship application - more than 7 months

Congratulations Just wondering if you have also applied SAR? Yes mate, I did, and it showed that my application possibly wasn’t assigned to anyone until 29/12/2022. I pretty much did everything that is listed on this forum, 1: Email to all the email addresses that I found online. 2: Submitted a SAR...

Re: British citizenship - no response after 6 months

I’ve been waiting for 14 months now and I’ve read some other people’s stories who had to wait at least 2 years. You can do following things; 1: Escalate through MP 2: Lodge a complaint through GOV website. 3: Email furthernationality team inbox. 4: Make a subject access request to check whether dela...

Date: SARU ref: SARU- I, ‘name’ ‘DOB’, give permission for the Home Office to access my records and send these records t...

Re: One year has passed and still have not received any response

Yes I have tried MP and the only response I get is that they are pressuring them and that I will hear soon and if not to email the MP again. This has been going on since November. Taking to Court? Wont this take more time and be more expensive? They should at least have a system so we could check t...

I had a response from xxxxxx today , saying that he has forwarded my email to appropriate team for their consideration and they will get back to me direct.

I wonder what is that ‘appropriate team’.

Re: Applied for Naturalisation and possibility to appear in the Magistrate Court

You should appeal the decision I think. Most decisions in civil cases are on balance of probabilities though.

I don’t think your revocation should have any issue on your naturalisation application as you license revocation is neither a criminal matter nor an Immigration matter.

What is score with Sar requests, did people get back information within 20 days or is it the same like naturalisation time frame?
