Re: Sudent support.

I even got suggestions to approach to local British red cross and citizen advice office to seek advice from them. But, How helpful it would be to approach them? It sounds like the more support and advice you can get the better. But I'm afraid an online forum about student visas is probably not goin...

Re: Sudent support.

Even if the university does not sponsor you for an extension of your Tier 4 visa, you would not be required to leave the UK until the travel restrictions due to the pandemic made it possible and safe to do so. At the moment the Home Office is only giving free extensions to 31 July, but keep an eye o...

Re: Tier-2 ICT Dependent to Tier-4 - Query based on 28 days wrt 31st July

My questions are as follows: 1. "your new course must start within 28 days of the expiry of your permission to stay" (A) Does it mean course must start before 28th September 2020 (This is my understanding) or (B) does it mean course must start between 2nd August and 31st August? I read and re-read ...

Re: Tier 4 Spouse Visa(she was denied entry in another country)

So I am not sure what she needs to fill in for "Give more details of what happened" section of form??? In that case she can only give her own account of that happened, as you did in your previous answer. I am confused between point 3 & 5. ... 3. I was required to leave ... 5. I was refused entry at...

Re: Switch from Tier 2 ICT Dependent to Tier 4

I could wait until my course nearing date to apply but i have seen that this concession is only applicable for applications making before July 31st ? so, i may loose this previlage if i delay application process as well. I advise waiting until after that date. It seems highly likely to be extended,...

Re: Switch from Tier 2 ICT Dependent to Tier 4

The term 'urgent' is not clearly defined in the Government website. That's the problem. My course is starting in September 2020 wouldn't that be not good enough to be treated as urgent? (they already mentioned in website) As there is no possible way of making application from home country? Kindly l...

There are General Grounds for refusal of a UK visa, but without knowing why she was refused entry to Singapore, it is impossible to say whether that refusal of entry means she falls foul of the UK's general grounds. Also what is the criteria for deciding Home and International student. Is it depends on university or UCAS. Re: English requirement for Tier4

It depends. Many people are exempt from needing to prove their knowledge of English, because of their nationality or their previous study. If not, your university normally does the assessment itself, but some may ask you for a secure English language test. The university will confirm your knowledge ...

I called many times to different helplines getting contradicting information most of the time, so I prefer doing the regular process. My two questions from the original post are the only doubts I have.
Why is your Tier 5 sponsor not advising you on this?

Due to flight restrictions, I can't go back to my country to do the BRP application (Argentina), so I was planning to apply from an EU country, Switzerland in particular. However, borders are still closed for non-EU citizens almost everywhere. There is a concession to apply in the UK. See https://w...
