Re: Unfair Withdrawal of Sponsorship by University

If you can help me about this, please do so. I'd you can't, well, then you can't. I already did. I put considerable thought, effort and time into my previous reply outlining some practical advice for you, posted above on Wed Aug 03, 2022 9:37 am. Re: Unfair Withdrawal of Sponsorship by University

But I dunno if the home office will deem my case as modern slavery. Modern slavery? Are you joking? Your employer asked you to work a few extra hours for your normal rate of pay. You had no problem or issue doing it until you realised it was a breach of your Student visa work conditions. Your emplo...

Re: extending tier 4 student visa

I wanted to ask if its possible for the university to contact UKVI, telling them they want to cancel the withdrawment of my sponsorship (so I'm sponsored by my university again) so I can extend my tier 4 visa and join the university again in September 2022 to finish my final year. It doesn't matter...

Re: Tier 4 Visa: Address on Bank statement

Given your obvious and ongoing anxiety about a number of aspects of the Student visa application, i advise that you get one-to-one advice from the professional visa adviser at your university. That's their job is to coach their students through the application.

It depends when your overstay started and and for how long. Do you think there's any way out of this if I want to stay in the uk? Or if I can prove that there is no evidence at all for this. It's up to the university, and they alone. As advised above, in a way they did the right thing, so it is not unfair, but it is for sure harsh and unusual. It is rare fo...

A solicitor reported success in varying an in-time valid undecided FLR(HRO) application to the Graduate route. Yes, that (or varying pretty much any other type of valid undecided application) would be fine because the applicant still has Student permission via 3C and so they meet Appendix Graduate ...

Re: Graduate route + fee waiver app to "buy time" until results published

You should have challenged the university's decision to not a issue a CAS. That is what has led to the current situation. I also don't understand how, if they were not happy to issue a CAS for you to extend your Student visa, they were still happy to confirm to UKVI that you were eligible for the Gr...

It follows that the funds required by the dependtant can be shown to be available by the student or the student's parents (but not by the dependant's parent).
I disagree that it follows. See how it is explained in Appendix Finance.

No. See Appendix Finance, paragraph FIN 5.1 https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-finance The basic rule for all types of application is that the money is in your own name. FIN 5.1(a) allows it to be in your partner's name if they are applying at the same time, and...

Graduate route + fee waiver app to "buy time" until results published

It appears some solicitors are recommending fee waiver applications if someone's results come out after their Student visa has expired, and they want to "buy time" until they can apply under the Graduate route. As the educational charity UKCISA says in a news story from 13 July 2022, it is a terribl...
