Re: Applying for British Passport online

The online process is facing shit, cannot put it in any other way. They do not ask you certain things when you fill the form online and after 4 weeks they send you the original paper form to fill again, WTF?

Re: REASON TO SURRENDER PAKISTAN CITIZENSHIP

This is a warning to people e.g. segs2tier1, we will not tolerate people insulting other people because their views are different, people can and will face an immediate ban for such behaviour. On another note, someone may wish to have only one nationality e.g. they may have greater protection if th...

Re: REASON TO SURRENDER PAKISTAN CITIZENSHIP

You were born there, are you so embarrassed of being of a Pakistani origin? How would you change the place of birth section on your passport which says YOU WERE BORN THERE. How will you get rid of your Pakistani accent? Don't act stupid and keep it, nothing wrong with having two nationalities when y...

Re: Naturalization 15 months after an ILR application

Hi Aryan2013, Yes, my application was successful. As you know from the above posts I applied 15 months after the date of my ILR application where by I had only spent 8 months on ILR. It is a joke that we all hear different stories about what would happen, some said I will get refused, the NCS lady s...

Re: December 2013 - Naturalization timeline

I have a funny feeling that all delayed applications belong to a high risk country such as Pakistan. Me being one of them, who else is waiting from December and are from Pakistan?

Lets see what happens next!

Cheers for the reply - you never know they might treat it similar to a FPN and use it against you. In the end of the day, they are both fines and if you dont pay you will end up in court.

I know John, by the look of many decisions and the knowledge of many Home Office members of staff the training is sparse and leaves a lot to be desired. Moreover, this seems the consensus throughout the civil service. You might find this interesting. When I left the NCS office I was handed a NCS cl...

HMRC Self Assessment late submission penalty

Does any one know if this Penailty will affect your Naturalisation outcome? It is a £100 fine for late submission which I have paid already, just wondering if that will go against the 'character requirement' since they will be checking your tax affairs etc. Not sure what this penalty is classed as, ...

You should be ok. Thanks for that and I hope so it goes ok. The reason I am a bit concerned is that the women said I will write what the guy from the HO said on this form - basically that my application will be refused by the HO adviser and I still went against his advice. I felt a bit like who the...

Well, I applied today using the NCS based on the 15 month rule. The women at the NCS gave me a hard time saying my ILR had not been granted 12 months ago and there is still 4 months to go but I kept referring her to chapter 18, annex B para 7.5g of the BNA and she could not under stand it. She had t...

Absolute rubbish... BTW, say we get our stuff back after 10 months, does it mean we can apply for Nationality any...

The UKBA should be privatised. To be honest, they are a waste of time and money filled with a bunch of useless and incompetent people. It’s ironic where so many UK institutions say how proud they are and how good they are and make fun of other countries and yet cannot compete with them. Look at the ...

Re: Payslip & Bank statement query

Hi, I have a query - my payslip is generated and payroll is processed by a company other than my employer. So the bank statements have the name of the payroll company against the salary entry, while payslips have the name of my company. How do I explain this to UKBA? In summary: My company: X Payro...

Good News!

The Home Office kindly emailed me an Acknowledgment notification just this morning.

I will forward it to my employer and if they still reject it then I will have to take things further.

Thanks again.

Many thanks for your replies. I have given them the employer helpline. Why are'nt I am allowed to work whil...
