From the success posts I have read it seems that Birmingham is taking longer to complete the process than Hounslow. Would that be fair conclusion? Looks like it - 8 weeks and counting for a straight forward application (we had Indian passport previously!) I guess you are on week 9. Any movement ?

I'm at nearly 5 weeks from Birmingham (although i applied nearly a week earlier from Bradford, so 6 weeks since application), and i am still under process. Taking an awful long time.

I'm surrendering my family members passport. However, when i go to enter the details i just get this message : "Entered Application reference number can not be tracked" Yet, when you look on here, most people are getting updates pretty much straight away. Is there something i am missing ? ...

I had my OCI processed 10 days ago. But still nothing in the post.

Been 5 days now and heard nothing about delivery message or when i will get the OCI.

I'm at 5 weeks (plus a few extra days for them to send the documents down from Bradford) at Birmingham. Nothing so far.

When people say 'original documents received' - what does this mean ?

They don't keep the passport original.

Thanks. When i put my details in i am still getting "No such record found"

I went to Bradford VFS on Thursday to get an OCI.

However, it's Sunday now ... and when i go to check my status it brings up no details at all, essentially saying 'not found'.

Should i be worried here? They took payment by debit card and didn't keep my passport.
