Hi Everyone

Can we actually petition Immigration council to take up this issue and formally request Minister of Justice to clarify what does processing of applications received in Feb 06 mean while we are waititng on our applications from Aug 05 ?

Hi Strongbow I dont think there is much we can do about it as it is exclusively goverened by mister of justice with no appeals. We are literally at his mercy for the waiting periods and approvals. What hurts me most is that after waiting 8 or more years years if you are turned down due to a minor er...

Folks I had applied in Aug 05 and called them recently. After holding for eternity was told very briefly that applications are now taking 3 yrs to process and the line was hung up

I applied in Sept 05 , I did get a acknowledgement letter that they received the additonal documents requested but no word on when a descion will be reached and now the website shows processing Nov 05 applications so I guess the descion timelines are not reflected on the updates on the website , but...

Hi Amit thanks for writing that letter , hopefully the misnter of justice will have a change of heart. But knowing these govt people they are bound deep in protocol and red tape. Thanks for the feedback and probably you are right with your views. We can only hope that maybe the new minister will be kind and more open minded and liberal in thier apporach towards immigrants.
