Re: ILR Dates for Switched Visa

Just to clarify, you cannot combine dependent visa time with main visa time yo make up the 5 year residence requirement for ILR. If she is a dependednt now, her ILR clock for GTV starts from date of approval of the GTV. There is no combining of skilled worker time as she doesn't CURRENTLY hold a ...

Re: ILR Dates for Switched Visa

Useful to post the full history, just during the year of each application. Also useful to state what route to ILR you are considering, 5 year, 10 year etc. Hi Thank you CR001 The case is a bit long and complex, so I thought to save everyone reading a long post :) .... but of course more than happy ...

Re: Academic fast track route - Interviewers Panel

Thank you for your response. I discussed with my employer and they are happy to issue me the statement of guarantee, and they will address all requirements. BUT they said that when it come to the requirement to have 3 academic, research or innovation representatives interviewers on the interview ...

Change of employer during the 60 days and dependent visa

Hello everyone, If I found a sponsored job during the 60 days after receiving the curtailment letter, will I need to issue new visas to my dependents as well (their visa are still valid for more couple of years) ? I know that I don't need to change my dependents visas (as far it is valid) if I ...

eVisa and immigration status

Hi all .... Will the new eVisa (instead of the BRP) reflect updated status of the visa ?
In other words, if the visa got curtained or cancelled due to end of employment... Will that be reflected on the online status?

Re: Changing employers in light of current visa processing timelines

I am not aware of any employer who will wait for a new employee to join for several months. This is something the employer should be aware of before making you an offer. It's a similar process you followed when applied for the first visa. Some employers are willing to wait and do this, others don't ...

Re: Changing employers in light of current visa processing timelines

Super priority, if available, is usually within one working day. Standard processing is usually within 8 weeks. Not sure where you got the 'many months' from. Skilled Worker visas very very rarely take long. Well, I had a look at the latest posts in the timeline for in UK applications thread in ...

Changing employers in light of current visa processing timelines

Hi All I am struggling to get my head around the practicality of changing employers under skilled worker visa under the current timelines for visa processing. I am on a valid skilled worker visa up to 2027, but to change employer, the employer must issue a new CoS and I should submit a new visa ...

Re: What does Innovative "exactly" mean?

I am posting this for the benefit of whoever search/read this thread and topic. In a Q&A call with one of the 3 endorsing organisations, they clearly stressed that unless the technology is new and either have IP or in the process of getting one, it won't be considered innovative. I hope this helps ...

Re: Cancelling Skilled Worker Visa during visa switch

Thank you so much @CR001 There is a possibility by the time I apply to the Innovator Visa that I will be made redundant at work, meaning I will be waiting for my curtailment letter and I know that in some cases these letters get delayed for a number of months, which is good in my case until I find a ...

Cancelling Skilled Worker Visa during visa switch

Hi Everyone I am currently on a skilled worker visa that is valid up to 2027 I am considering to switch visa to Innovator Founder. My questions are 1. If the new visa (Innovator Founder) got rejected, will my current Visa (Skilled Worker) will still be valid? 2. Does the HO cancels the current Visa ...
