You were fined and given points by the court, were not not? I assume you pleaded guilty on the form you received from the court? No I did not go to court. Police gave me a FPN by the road, I then went in to the police station to hand in my license to be sent off for the points. Paid the fine online...

I heard birmingham application is always slow and people waiting here for more than 3 months but your case is extreme so If they are not responding over phone and email,its better to go there and find out where is the issue?

I called passport checking line and customer care guy told me that they don't require old passport,only require the current passport.
