if you have IGS VISA it self will give you 75 points no need to send any education documents for igs extnsion just you need to show £800 from past 3 months.Home office cannot refuse the IGS extension because of Diploma they just refues because of funds that is less that £800 in past three months.

Yes same day service is avilable for IGS extention but it will be better if you go yourself to home office and extend by yourself.

Yes i agree what republique saying is 100 % right , If you can get letter from doctor and your employer and a covering letter expalining all this , then they are more chances of getting .

Is all your absences are 8 months .If you were abroad on workbasis , and salary paid in uk currency(tax and NI paid ) and you can get letter from employer then i think there is scope.
