Have you tried contacting VFS/BHC for your application status? First contact VFS ((080) 40084008 though I doubt they'll be able to give any information). Then try to contact Mumbai BHC asking them that 15 days are already over and you need to know the status of application and expected date of any ...

How do you check the status ?

It depends form where you apply. In India BHC offices are there in multiple cities. As per my knowledge BHC Mumbai takes around 45 days and BHC Chennai takes around 25 to 30 days.

Their speed of changing rules is like anything

I get frustrated with this status message, VFS/BHC is having only 2 status messages to mention!
1. Application sent to BHC
2. Passport sent

Online tracking system is totally waste of time!
