@faisall... apply for your extension and your baby's initial leave at the same time when he/she is born... this will be an early extension but you will get points for age which is what you need and will take you upto the 5 years for ILR... provided the rules remain the same... Why dont you switch to Tier-1 from within the UK... if you are confidenet that you will qualify then apply from here... there are many advantages... no limits... no break in residency hence no delay in ILR provided the rules remain the same... you can stay within UK as long as you have made an appli...

Only degree certificate needs to be submitted... You can submit as much evidence as you want but keep in mind that the ECO will go through the whole lot and waste time... so an application that should only take a couple of hours to complete will take longer... and if any doubt is raised about these ...

the BHC in islamabad is not closed... the visa application centre is closed but the VAC in lahore and karachi are open...
