Thanks for the advice Wanderer.

I think that the student visa could be a viable option. Do you know if she would have to return to Turkey first, or could she apply while still in UK?

I very much appreciate the advice from someone who has been through this process already!

No, we haven't. As she is an au pair she is not primarily living with me.

I take it that 2 years co-habiting is a requirement of the partner visa application?
