Yes, their estimate is quite accurate. Our passports were received right on the estimated date (Usually a month from the submission date). You could also chat with them via webchat, they are super responsive.

You could try to reach out to your embassy (if they are here in Ireland). I know a friend of mine got an affidavit of some sort from the embassy for this missing birth cert.

They are not handing the certs at the ceremony probably because they don't want to overwhelm the passport office. Just thinking aloud.

My spouse and I applied back in Jan 2022 and all of the processes (ack, evetting, approval, payment processing) happened at the same time for the both of us, except the ceremony invite. I was invited to the Oct ceremony and she is invited to the Dec one. So, it seems there can be differences in the ...

We (spouse and I) applied back in Jan 2022 and I got my invite for the Oct 2 ceremony. My wife's application has been approved and payment has been processed (1st week of sep) but she doesn't have the invite yet. Our progress was always together (Acknowledgement, e vetting, approval, payment etc..) ...
