We started getting ready in the UK and accordingly found a lawyer in the there as well. When I was travelling back we had nearly all docs ready.
It is better to deal with a professional who has dealt with your particular country beforehand, however this is not neccessary.

My lawyer had informed Home Office few days before I left the UK, saying that I intend to leave UK voluntarily. I also had a...

Thank you Jei2 and Chibage (not knowing your names)! I have been reading your posts, they are of great help. He made his application on the 20th. I was wondering, will he be banned for 12 months because he went back on the 15th? this is so distressing - I have never been this distressed in my life. I just keep thinking, if they were going to do that - why would they give him an interview? I left the UK on...

"By the time your appeal gets to court you will have already or nearly completed your year ban. You are wasting your time and money". Yes, we know that there will be no need for spending money on appeal if the ban term is over. The article Vinny sent a link for is very interesting I will ask my law...

May I assume that you received a response to your appeal from officials (AIT or a Post in the country you applied in) telling you that it will take 6-8 ...
