If you have lost your P60, then it is worth contacting your employer and asking them a copy of the P60 for that particular year. Get the copy attested by them.

Otherwise, take your P45 to show the earnings from your previous employer for that period.

As long as you hae P60 for your 5 years there should be no problem. They ask you for the payslips for the last 3 months and bank statements for the last 3 months. The bank account should ideally be your salary account.

I recently got my ILR granted and had a employment gap of 4 months.

Dear beever,

Oh, I am so sorry i missed you out. Did you try telling the HO it is 10 weeks already. I thought somebody in the forum faxed their air tickets and got the application done. why don't you fax your air-tickets and tell them it is urgent.

Dear Ceeiddy,

Really feel sorry for you. You are more than 10 weeks old now and you could actually demand to know your situation. they keep saying 10 weeks all the time.

Now they cannot avoid you in anyway. I think you should just get speaking to them and ask them where are your documents.

Aamir,

I think it will be better to keep your bank statements ready. Just in case, the CW decides to call you in a week's time and ask for bank statements. You can then send it asap. You still have a week or 2 in hand.

As soon as i get to work, i check the forum for updates and then call CC. and sometimes call before leaving work to...
