DCoS "new entrant"

Hello everyone, I am 28 years old, and applying for the first time for a skilled worker visa from outside the UK. I noticed that my sponsor ticket the "**new entrant"**case in the CoS thinking it means a new application or a new entrant to the labor market. According to HO documents, I am not consid...

Re: Skilled worker visa "unique Ecctis reference number"

Thank you for your reply. It is still a bit confusing to me, I will try to be more specific, my SoC is 2126: Design and development engineers, the role is embedded R&D Engineer, from what you stated and since there is a professional body that needs any accreditation, I think I do not need to apply t...

The only time that a qualification or accreditation is an absolute for the role to be performed, usually professional in nature, doctors, dentists, lawyers and accountants being far from an exclusive list of examples.
How do I know whether my job needs such qualifications or not? My SoC is 2126.

Re: Skilled worker visa "unique Ecctis reference number"

I got a certificate from PSI-skills for English, it's a Secure English Language Test (SELT) from an approved provider. So I fulfilled my English proficiency requirement. I was wondering if I need to make a degree/education qualification even if I don't have a PhD.

Skilled worker visa "unique Ecctis reference number"

Greetings everyone, While exploring the requirements for the SWV application, I came across a mention of needing either a UK PhD certificate or a unique Ecctis reference number (previously unique UK NARIC reference number) for qualifications obtained outside the UK. As I don't possess a PhD, and it'...

Got my Define CoS number, what next?

I have recently received a PDF file from my employer containing the "Certificate of Sponsorship details." The current status of the certificate is listed as "ASSIGNED." Can I proceed to use this certificate number for my visa application now? I am somewhat concerned about potential additional waitin...

Re: Pre-licence priority service

**Update 3**: My employer informed me that we got the license approved on 02/12 (just 2 days after providing additional information on Pre-license) and are proceeding with assigning a CoS. I wish all the best for all the people that are still waiting.

Re: Pre-licence priority service

** Update 2**: My employer is sent a form from HO to fill out, the form contains details about the employee, birth date, nationality, the reason to ask for a sponsorship, and immigration status. He informed me as well that when applying for the license he was asked how many CoS he needed and he put ...

CoS and job advert

Hello, I want to check what are the steps to follow for a sponsor to bring someone outside of the UK after getting the license, I know that the next step is to allocate and then assign a CoS to a worker but I have some doubts about that, should the employer advert the job on their website beforehand...

Define CoS priority service

Hello all, I found that applying for a CoS and allocating to an overseas worker, usually would take one working day. Dealing with the Home office lately proved that those times are not accurate anymore due to the number of applications. Is there a CoS priority service (Defined one) similar to the pr...

Sponsorchip license and undefined CoS

Hello,

Does anybody know, if an employer applied for a sponsorship license, and asked for 1 undefined CoS, can still sponsor people from outside the UK with a defined CoS? in other words, Is the sponsorship license locked to either defined or undefined CoS? Thanks.

Re: Pre-licence priority service

Thank you for your reply. Actually, my prospective employer is a UK subsidiary of my current employer, so basically I am dealing with my current employer, and yes, they do confirm going on with the procedure for some months now, without rejection, I believe they would tell me if so. What might be st...

Has anyone gone by the Pre-license priority service lately? If so, please let me know. I have been trying to use the service for almost a week now.

Sponsor licence and Pre-licence priority service

Hello, I am new to this forum, so apologize if I posted in the wrong thread. I have sponsorship promises from a UK employer who started the sponsoring procedure back in late July this year (as they claim), In mid-September, the home office asked for further documents and they provided them. Until th...
