About FD validity

Thanks CoolestGuyC for showing me the link & thanks to sharbt_hvr for posting the info abt FDs being valid. BTW sharbt_hvr - did you get any written confirmation from any of the VFS ppl confirming the same? What did you show to convince them with the FDs? Also, any idea about the letter formats?...
