dependant to T2

Hi,
My friends wife is studying here and my friend is working as a chef in a Chinese restaurant. There are a few hotels interested in recruiting him. Can you please let me know if there is a path for getting a work permit while on dependant of a student?

Visitor visa for a relative

Hi, I'm trying to bring my mother's sister for a short holiday. When i read the gov.uk web site an aunt doesn't fall in to family visa category. I'm also thinking of dropping my two first names and keep only the third name as first name. Having difficulty as the name is too long. Does it need a deed poll to drop a first name? I guess i can use the shortened name in the passport application and give the full name in section 8?

Past addresses for spouse application

Hi,
My wife is going to apply for BC based on 3 years as a spouse of british citizen. In form AN question 1.17 asks for the past five years addresses. For spouse do we need to give addresses back in the home country also? She has been in the UK for less than five years.

Thank You

in the guidance notes it says " All date formats should be dd-mm-yyyy" format. What the referee did is dd-mm-yy format. So just want to make sure this wont cause any issues.

Referee signatures

Hi,
Im applying through the NCS in weeks time and just noticed that one referee has put the date as 29-05-12. I read in the guide that date format should be dd-mm-yyyy. Do you think i should get it corrected? Someone told that these are going to be scanned so need correct format.

thanks

For the professional referee can it be " I know the aplicant as a friend"?

Thanks.

Unfortunately no. I'm well within the allowance so is it safer to give one day earlier as the day i left UK? Some times this may not be the case so will it be considered as incorrect data?

FPN and BC

Hi,
I'm eligible to apply for BC in May. I got a FPN of £120 for entering a restricted road for cars and motor cycles which I paid £60 within 14 days as adviced. This was a year before and should I mention it in the aplication? I dont have the letter or remeber the exact dates even.

Many Thanks

Name change before applying for naturalisation

Hi,
I'm planning to apply for naturalisation in two months and want to remove part of my name by deed poll. If I get the deed poll just before the application can I use the new name on the application and send a copy of the deed poll UKBA?

Apreciate any advice.
