Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

-My employer only does digital p60 and payslips so they are printouts from the work intranet. Is this going to be a problem? When my wife applied for her permanent residence (non-EEA spouse of EEA national) we used the prints of my P60s only and was good for the HO. -Also if I submit p60 can I do w...

Re: Working abroad after acquiring Indefinite Leave To Remai

Thanks all. So looks like indeed following EU regulations I should be able to keep my PR if every 2 years I spend some time in the UK (absences versus residence). Having said that when Article 50 is invoked and the UK does leave the EU I'm not sure how much that's going to be worth, so to be safe I ...

Re: Working abroad after acquiring Indefinite Leave To Remai

Cheers Wanderer and Petaltop. I'll submit my DCPR application this weekend and will ask my employer for a 2 year stay in Russia instead of 3. Being a Dutch citizen I would lose my Dutch passport when applying for a British passport so that's not an option as I still want to be able to work in the EU.

Working abroad after acquiring Indefinite Leave To Remain

I am a Dutch national who arrived in the UK in September 2008 and in 2009 I got my residence certificate (EEA1) in Croydon. I have never applied for Permanent Residence / ILR / EEA4 because I found it a lot of work to obtain a right I already had. But now with the Brexit I decided to apply anyway. N...

Travelling together to Italy but back to UK alone with EEA2

Our situation: I am Dutch and residing in UK, my wife is Russian and has an EEA2 permit. For business I need to travel to Italy in May so my wife wanted to join me in the bank holiday weekend and go back early (Monday 7 May) as she'll need to go back to work on Tuesday, whilst I'll stay for business...

Thank you fysicus. Sakhalin does not issue Dutch passports so that is unfortunately not an option. For an EEAFP the nearest VAC will be Ekaterinburg, but Moscow is easier by flight. As an alternative we are thinking of going by train or plane (2 hours in the middle of the night) to Beijing and ask f...

Can I apply for the EEA Family Permit for my infant child?

I (Dutch national) live in the UK with my Russian wife. She has an EEA2 card so that's all okay. She is pregnant at this moment and wants to give birth in Vladivostok with her family. As there is not a Dutch embassy or consulate in the immediate vicinity that'll issue a Dutch passport I think the qu...

Thanks

format EEA2 card

Dear all, We received the EEA2 card for my wife in September 2009, but it was endorsed as a sticker in her passport in clear violation of the guidelines that state under paragraph 2.2.2 "the residence card must be issued as a self-standing document and not in form of a sticker in a passport, as this...

YUP! It will be back to square one, the whole process all over again, if you want the RC to be endorsed in her new passport! Otherwise, if you don't want to go through the hassle, she can travel with both passports! It's not a problem. It's the passport that will have expired, not the RC itself. Th...

Re: EEA Family Permit: Average time?

Can people with experience let me know how long it took them from the time they applied (online) for their spouses EEA Family Permit until they actually received it? I know that the times vary, but I'm looking for a general idea of how long to expect. Cheers! Under the below URL you can find the av...

Your complaint cannot be a legal basis for a refusal. I suggest to start the complaint process today by an email at least as a 'friendly' reminder. There are only 3 working days left anyway before the deadline. Thanks. You are right, but I am getting a bit scared every now and then being dependent ...
