if she said under consideration, its a good sign.. it means that its with a case worker.

if it moves into "under further consideration", it can be delayed..

So many people come to UK never thinking about what you have just mentioned and the get a shock... add to your list the expenses on VISA extensions and the painful wait it involves.. in fact, everything here is so slow and expensive. what category are you switching from? I called HO yesterday and the same answer it is still under consideration. When I asked , should I send a Urgent treatment letter , they told me its entirely upto HO to consider if it is urgent or not :( The wait is killing me as it is almost 10 weeks now ...
