but the april 2010 date is that confirmed.i am not sure.the ukba website just says early next year.

He was deputed from India to Uk. by PR i mean permanent resident. sorry but while seaching for jobs people use the word PR more than ILR. i do not think any agent would understand ILR unless they had a stint at hoime office. Ok does any one have an answer for this a WP for five years from 2006 to 20...

THis is for my friend please advice. he cam to britan in early 2006 and had 5 year WP he will be eiligibe for PR early next year. Now that WP is actually called TIer 2 ICT these days and with new change of rules early next year will he be eligible for PR early next year Please advice.

No i think any body in tier2 (old wp) would not be eligible for PR.

Intracompany transfer they mean is that people can brought on board after 12 months.

I would completing 5 years in august (out of whihc i have spend about 45 days out of uk) which means i can apply in in july but MY wife will be completing 5 years in september but she has about 7.5 months outside uk (3 + 3 + 1.5). so I will apply in august but .....would 7.5 months outside be a prob...

No postal application

I think even if personal appt is 200 pounds more it appears that is is worth it since ....if a passport is locked for more than 4 weeks it is not good.

I would be applying for ILR in july...i have a total of 40-45 days in the last 5 years out of the country so i hope it should not be problem.

Hello Jay4you... the documetns you propose to send is ok. Please have a nice covering letter, keep doucmnts related to particular section in different envelopes and also a separate covering note for earnings (salary breakup etc etc) like qualifications in one envelpe earnings in another and marrigae...

applied - 9th July
ref letter -10 july
approval - 31 july
Passport received - 5th August.

From UK ...Though they have stamped visa as tier1 migrant the letter attached with it says that

the extension is under old rules and also that presently you can apply for ILR with the existing rules but the ilr rules may change in the future

i had applied for extension(2+3) on the 9th of July and enquired where my application was on the 25th july. a customer service person was kind enough to give me lot of time telling me that it would take atleast 20th-25th august for my application to reach a case worker and from then on it would take...
