The letter from your employer needs to have both the gross and net earnings mentioned, as the the net part would be tallied with your bank statements.

In simple terms,

your options are;

Payslips + Bank Statements

or

Letter from Employer + Bank Statements

So as in your case Payslips + Bank Statements are sufficient.

As I will be applying from outside the UK I will be using the vaf9 http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/docs/1903073/vaf9 application form (page 9, section 6.9) on which they seem to have missed the Civil judgements part which is present in the application form you are referring to (for in-country...

But if your unpaid credit-card debt resulted in a civil judgment, then that should be disclosed. And being unaware of a civil judgment possibly issued in absentia, may not be considered an acceptable reason for nondisclosure. AG But the visa application form (vaf9) asks "Do you have any criminal co...

They do not do a credit check in the UK as part of the application checks unlesss there is some very good reason usually based on information held. It is unlikely that any action was taken to recover the debt in your absence as the credit conpany would not be able to trace you. You would be bad cre...

Odds of getting a Technical sales/pre-sale job in the UK

Guys!

I'm thinking of migrating to the UK on the Tier 1 visa.

What are the odds for an Indian/Sri-Lankan to land a job in Technical Sales/ Pre-sales in the Telecoms industry in the UK?

Any advice would be much appreciated :)

Same doubt I've been having, not just the Evidence field even for the Source of Earnings field for which you need to fill the name and dates there's hardly any space.

My advice is if you have a PDF editing software you can use smaller font and fill it!

Hello ppatil9, What you should try to understand is the LOGIC behind the RULE rather than the rule itself, they just want to be sure that the documents you provide are not forged. So if you feel that your print-outs don't look like they have been or can be forged then go ahead, but bear in mind that...

Thanks a lot Sushdmehta,

The thing is that I am short of teeny amount to get the requisite 75 points, I think I'll ask my finance manager whether he can have my overtime pay put in with the monthly pay next time around.

Best of luck for everyone applying!

Please advice: What if Overtime allowances paid separately

Hello Everyone :D I hope someone with loads of HSMP wisdom in this forum can shed some light on my question. My Overtime pay needs to be claimed on-line with my other claims (for which I submit receipts), so they don't show up on my payslips. Hence only a part of the deposit in the bank is actually ...
