We got married on 15 of August but i am going to ask about divorce after that date(I will be in Poland in september) so we'll be married that time 3 years. His Residence Card expire in 2012. I am afraid they will refuse a Permanent Residence Card(or any other) if we'll be getting social assistance. When i arrived I just got my PPS and start working. I am working already 3 years in Ireland so I have enough stamps to get jobseeker benefit. Probably i will get some money for my non eu husband as well as he's not working and our baby, but my question is what will happen after his 5 years on 4eufam...

My husband got letter confirming EU4FAM today morning. We are very happy! We were waiting for that 2 years. How long will take now to get the residence card? They give it the same day when will go to immigration officer on garda station?

Do You know if with polish temporary residence card(karta pobytu) you can travel to ireland or uk without visa(together with polish spouse)? Someone tried that already?

Thanks for reply. I know that we can apply for visa in the embassy but i am worry that it will take time and i have work here. I read on the embassy side that it should take 6-8 weeks(this is even long for me),but I read the story when, it took them 48 days to receive the application from the embass...

Our applications was turned down because the spouse hasn't lived before in another eu state. That's why we wanted to go to Poland just to satisfy them. Now things changed but we still want to go and after come back. If we apply for visa in the embassy it might take long. So what about Directive 2004...
