As you are doing it online, you can add another applicant and also add children.

You just need to tick that checkbox on the online application.
You don't need to provide any evidence of English requirement.

I applied in last year Dec and did the same. My application was successful last week.

Ok, I got my answer when I printed off the declaration ; the referee requirements for a child have not changed.
