Some people's email approval will have a note below saying where to contact in case of errors or omissions, etc. "Please check your visa immediately on receipt to ensure that we have completed your visa correctly. Please send details of any errors or omissions to xzy.abc123@fco.gov.uk ASAP." I do ...

Mine was processed. I did have an affidavit though.
It may not be completely necessary, but it should be helpful.

after three years...when you have to renew/extend... do you have to go through the whole process again from scratch, or is renewing/extending a simpler easier process..... It seems they are issuing the visa stamping them with the present day rather than the chosen date... i'll know next week if that ...

so how would it affect ILR if you simply show up to the UK a few (3-6) months after you visa stamp date? Is there any set specific guidance on this...
other than being able to arrive until the date it expires...
what are the ramifications of arriving a bit later than data visa starts?

I'm assuming current year tax docs are NOT required if you are already submitting payslips and bank statements as your two different sources, right?

yes, well, the PDF states: For applications submitted outside of the United Kingdom, all evidence must be dated no more than seven days before the application is submitted. I thought this was changed to 1-month rather than 7-days. But the PDF has not been changed. So how are we supposed to read this?

Maintenance Requirement Change: from 7 days to 1 Month - URG

I read on the guidelines updated as of December 2008 that the maintenance of funds requirement must now be dated no more than one month prior to the date you submit your application. Is that effective Dec 1. or effective when? Was there any official announcement regarding this change? I was about to ...
