Hi, I wrote to them with copies of the original (incorrect) letter they had sent and those of our passports and residence permits. Their address was on the original letter and also on the UKBA website. It took them almost 5 weeks to reply with the corrections. I had almost given up. I hope this help...

ILR Blunders by PEO - Please Help

I received ILR for my family and myself from the Birmingham PEO on 6 July 2009 under the HSMP Judicial Review Judgment April 2009. The letter that I was handed at the Birmingham PEO backdating my ILR was only addressed to me. Later when I was studying the application forms for naturalisation, I real...

Many thanks for the reply. She will complete her 5 years nearly at the same time as I as we enter UK just a few days apart, and hence my keenness to apply together. I have decided to get that letter amended. A friend also had a similar problem and he wrote back to the person who had signed his lette...

Many thanks f2k I hope you wont mind suggesting how do I go about getting that letter. Hello, I have a small query. I got my and my dependent's ILR on 6 July 2009 under the HSMP Judicial Review Judgement. I got a letter from the Home Office back-dating my ILR to October 2008. However, that letter only has my name on it and not of my dependents. My dependents will be completing 5 years...

Hi Congrats. One question. You mentioned that you had paid the fee after all the verification is done by the case worker. do you know if it is the case with all PEO's? From what i read, in Cryodon, you would be asked to pay the fee after few initial checks at the entrance and before seeing the case...

Re: ILR - PEO Croydon

Hi Filipinas,

Thank you for your post. I have a question about backdating the ILR, is it the exact date when you would have become eligible for ILR had the rules not changed or different from that.

Thank you

Hi, The following Home Office page (or links from it) may answer your questions (http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1/hsmp/hsmp-judicial-review-09/) I think they may be right. You have to apply for your refund of the extension fee also. Regards ob40 I apologise if i have come to the...

HSMP->Tier1->ILR - Possible Visa Gap?

I entered UK under HSMP in July 2004. I was supposed to apply for an extension last July to take me to my qualifying period for ILR. However, my immigration consultant filed the application (though 5 weeks before the expiry of the previous visa) with the wrong fee. The Home Office returned the appli...

This is not what you would like to hear, but I guess you will not be eligible for ILR until 2011. Hi, I have a simila...
