This is a very strange issue. I Think it is a mistake of british high commission only. When you applied VFS global must have given you an acknowledgement of the application. Hello All,

I applied for EC on 4th Sept 08 from Bangalore, with the HSMP Approval letter that I recieved from Home office.

Current status is application sent to British High commission Chennai. They say it might take 1 month for the processing.
