Thanks for your replies :). Probably I am thinking too much about other factors but I guess job security could be an important factor here. About the citizenship AFAIK a child born in US is entitled to citizenship (even if the parents are not US citizen). This is not the case in UK. So this could be...

It seems you are hell bent on proving that my post is pointless. Even if it is you may choose not to post any replies. May be my question was not clear, but you are doing no good to it either. There could be information which is missing, but you could have asked for it or simply would have mentioned...

Well, everybody who applies for Tier1 visa has a different experience. I cannot compare my experiences with someone else, but still people ask for suggestions and information. So I am just asking. And many people go to career counsellers for getting answers to "what they should do in life". I dont th...

Hi! Though this is not related to Tier 1 visa directly, but I am very confused and hence putting it here. The background is that I have a valid Tier1 which I got in Feb 2010. I have not travelled to UK as I was planning to come to UK for 2-3 months after resigning from my job. After informing my com...

Hi! I had a similar situation when I applied in December 2009. So I wrote an application (on plain paper) to change the date (as in the original application) and submitted it to VFS with my passport. After 5 days they gave me my passport back with the old visa cancelled and new visa with new date. L...

Hi! VFS did not charge me any fee. I just submitted my passport and covering letter (with my contact details). Initially the VFS guy at the counter told me to go to BHC Delhi for this. But I had a doubt so I called VFS helpline and they told me I should submit passport with a cover letter. I went ba...

Hi!
Thanks for your reply.
By any chance is it possible that they reject my visa instead of updating the visa date?

Tax evasion?

It is true that atleast in India, there are many ways you can avoid tax to a significant extent. For example, House loan or premiun bonds etc., But such stuff is not possible in UK :-) , I payed tax both in India and UK, so you can put some weight on what I just said . There is a different between ...

Should I try to get a consultant/professional help for preparing my application or is it better to do it on my own?
