Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

I gave bio-metrics in November, haven't heard anything back. Is there any email address I can use to check the status? My case is very straight forward, just seeing naturalisation timeline forum and people applied after me received approval so bit worried.

Apply for citizenship if your spouse is a British citizen

Hi,
I received ILR on 1-Oct-2019. My husband received British Citizenship through Naturalisation 22-Nov-2019. Can I now apply for British Citizenship through above route?
Thanks,

Re: 90 days concession and 28 days rule - Clarification

You can apply maximum of 28 days before 02/03/15.
You entered within 90 days, so it will not be counted as absence.
You can mention duration you have been to UK. like 4 years 9 months or 4 years 10 months whatever.

Re: father claim child benefit does affect child ilr

Thanks for quick reply.

In "Child Benefit claim form", they say
If any child in this claim was born outside the UK we also need to see their passport(s) or their travel documents used to enter the UK.

When you applied did you send their passports as well?

Hi aknc789, Did you apply for child benefit? What happened? I am in the same boat. I have ILR. My wife recently got spouse visa (33 months) and kids same (33 months). Kids were born before I got ILR. Will I be eligible for child benefit? Wife and kids visas say "no recourse to public funds"? Any hel...

Re: Settlement visa application from India - 2011

Hi
I will be applying spouse settlement visa soon.
Just want to confirm regarding forms:
- Online application form (Visa4UK)
- SU07 (sponsorship)

As far as I am aware, I don't need to submit VAF4A and appendix 2 any more as I'll submit online. Right? Please confirm?

Re: Spouse Visa English Requirement

ok thanks. I just tried with my spouse detail, I get 30 point for degree and 10 point for English based on spouse's first tier 1 successful application 1-Sep-2008. Am I good to just use this to show English language?

Many thanks for reply.

Which category should I check?
Tier 1 (High-value migrants) --> Tier 1 (General) --> Inside the UK --> Extending
What shall I put as first successful application? Sorry little confused so asking.
