Certificate of Entitlement for Right of Abode

Dear beloved forum members, I am currently quite confused about the visa situation for my baby. My baby is born in the UK before wife obtained ILR (10 year route), so baby is not automatically British. However, she is now entitled to be British via the MN(1) form since my wife is now settled. FYI, I...

thanks SKUK, but do you think if I move my money over to the UK instead of leaving it in my US account, it'll speed up the application?

Due to my job, I can't lose access to my passport for very long periods of time.

Thanks chetanojha, I visit UK frequently and I don't need a visa due to a visa waiver. I still have my old UK bank account when I was studying here in the UK and I just need to move my money to here. As for verifying my payslips, it's only a call away since the time difference is only 2 hours. Do yo...

I am applying for Tier 1 General from scratch. I used to live & study in the UK for 4 years, up to MEng. Then, I left after uni & worked in Latin America, and now in the Middle East. I scored 125 points on the points calculator & satisfy all the requirements. As for banking statements, I bank in the...

Maintenance fund - UK account, apply outside UK

Hi all,

If I apply outside UK but have a bank account in the UK, do I need GBP800 or GBP2800?

Say it's GBP2800, does it mean my bank statements can then be 1 month old at the most, instead of just 7 days?

Thanks!

i've forgotten my ref number as well, which is ages ago but I found my old passport with the entry stamp in it. I guess that should be enough proof?

Apply in the UK itself?

Hi all, Bear with me please, just 3 questions: I currently work in the oilfield and as such, I have to travel around quite often in the Middle East and will need my passport often. The longest I can stay in any one place is about 1 month. Also my country, Malaysia (non-EU) has an agreement with the ...
