1st Contact Visas www.1stcontactvisas.com Experience was good, expensive, but I got the visa so... I told them my concerns and let them decide what to do and let me know before applying. They took decision and was about the same as what I would've gone for if I had applied myself. I met the agent on...

Couple of my p60s were having name differences. e.g. My passport name is FirstNameKumar Surname, but p60 contains FirstName...

Re: Rejection due to difference in names(If Notary inIndia)

Hello here4tier1, Sure, Notory is always self sworn and I am aware of that fact. But thats the point for their rejection. I can't myself declare being here4tier1, isn't it. And as I mentioned in my previous posts, all my wp visas till date have been based on the same Notorized Affidavit. Its just th...

Re: Rejection due to difference in names(If Notary inIndia)

I am not aware of any standard of Notary form. I kept one mentioning the difference in names between two documents and that it belongs to same person. HO didn't consider self sworn affidavit this time and in rejection letter it was stated that a letter from awarding institution would be expected ins...

Re: Rejection due to difference in names(If Notary inIndia)

In my case, I submitted one which I got from India.

I think it doesn't make any difference where you get Notarized Affidavit from. The thing is in my HO didn't consider self sworn affidavit. But still I would say get it from UK if you are here.

Re: Rejection due to difference in names

Thanks for replying. I have used a notorized affidavit for all my previous WP applications and that worked. This time they mentioned about a letter from awarding institution that could have been considered. So I got such letter from uni and have reapplied. Viral [quote="here4tier1"]Hi Guys, I had th...

Re: Policy Guidance

Hi Cadeaux, Well how urgent could you get more than this!!! Surprised and also lost all hopes of getting visa in near future. I wonder if they send our applications to MI6 -> FBI -> KGB and back for checks. It certainly is going to take time. :) But thank you very much for replying and hope the best...

Re: Policy Guidance

Hi Piyush,

As I have seen with previous posts about UT, HO takes about a week to process UT and send documents back, if considered.

I wish you all the very best... and thanks for replying.

Could you please tell me how long it has been since you have sent in UT request?

Thanks,

Just called up HO to know status of my application. Even after their automated system say T-1 applicants can know the status if applied before 6 weeks, they denied giving any status. Also it was mentioned that they only provide status if 14 weeks have passed since applied.

Hi Shaz999, You can only claim points for ONE degree. So don't reapply with more than ONE. Normally application is submitted with the degree fetching highest possible points. In your case it seems to be BSc. But as it is NOT listed on points calculator, your degree needs to be endorsed through a bod...

Hi Shaz999, Sorry to hear about your rejection. I just looked on points calculator but points are not awarded for BSc degree from University of Punjab, Lahore. Get your degree certified by NARIC. For urgent treatment from NARIC it may cost upto £200 to £300 but you will get result within 48 hrs. A...
