Has anyone renewed GNIB recently, apparently the Garda at Burgh Quay are still haven't a clue about the interim stamp 4. Please kindly share your experience here, thanks.

My colleague went yesterday to renew her GNIB 2 weeks before the GC expire. Unsurprisingly, the IO have absolutely no idea about the new procedure & ruling. They told her to get the GC renewed at DETE. Fortunately, she has printed out the web-pages, & taught the officers how to do their job, again.

If my source of information is correct Justice collects data from Revenue for all that have got naturalisation - for up to 7 years. Therefore it's needed that you are a tax payer in the country for at least 7 years after you became a paddy! I am sure people in this board will know better! You are n...
