Thanks gprao2010...just one more question my child's passport is valid until Jan 2016 and I would be applying for ILR in Aug 2015. Is there a rule that passport has to be valid for at least 6 month or more?

I am about to apply for ILR for me + 2 dependents, I had a question regarding documents for my wife. She has a degree certificate from University of Mumabi and original Mark sheet (Final Year). Do I still require a letter from University stating that the course was taught in English

Firstly congrats on ur ILR. Regarding dependent (wife) documents did you submit letter from University stating the course was taught in English? Also you didn't mention about Life in the UK test, guessing you both would have cleared that :)

whatever rules applicable during the time of your first application apply now, i got my 2nd extension approved yesterday. For example if you scored 10 points for your age in 2008, you can claim the same now. the same principle applies for your previous earnings and other areas. Thanks for your repl...

yes, one of them has got it resolved so it confirms that old rules do apply but I am just concerned as I am not qualifying with the new rules and if they go with the new rules as in these 2 cases then my application will be rejected and than I will have to go for an apple and that's lot of hassle.
