there is no harm in mentioning this. as you already spent the conviction it is better if you declare it in the application. they are not going to declare an application for this. a collegue of mine was in a similar situation and got ilr without any issues

if you are alone applying for ILR, i guess your dependants visa gets invalidated once your ILR is stamped. Please check regarding this
