Got visa. Thanks God. Fist visa application was filed on 16th Dec. just after marriage but i thought i would come back and rent accomodation later, did not check these forums, was a big mistake, resulted in waste of time when on 6thFeb they refused visa. Had option to appeal or make fresh applicati...

Kashif,

That is excellent news. Well done mate, am happy for you. That is a speedy turnaround as well.

If you get time, it would be great to see what you submitted in the visa application.

Hi everyone,

Glad to see everyone is hanging in there.

I've booked my trip to Pak and I shall be leaving on 3rd April. My wife and I have Gerrys in ISB booked for 8th April.

I've been preparing everything with my solicitor and am happy with this second application. Let's wait and see what happens.

Yes it is, as far as the rejection reasons go for your last application. But another advice is dont get too focused on the rejection reasons and make the rest of the application sloppy. I am sure you will get it right this time around. Good Luck! Thanks Riff, I have a meeting with my solicitor on M...

Riff, I wanted to ask you a question. Does it go against you if the sponsor works part time? For instance I work 3 days a week and earn £1000 after tax and NI deductions. I'm living with my parents and don't pay rent. I spend half and save half every month and have £2500 worth of savings. Would l...

Congrats and Mubarak to those who have recieved their visas.

To those who have been successful, does the amount you earn matter? I earn just over £1000 a month on a part time basis. I also have £2500 in savings. Is this sufficient?

The application form will ask you for the refusal number anyway but it would be a good idea to send a photocopy of the refusal letter as well.

Aqilzeeshan, i'd advise you to just put in a fresh application. The appeal procedure takes between 6-8 months and although BHC Islamabad may review the refusal decision, they usually just send it back to the AIT for a hearing. If you are going to appeal then you must submit new documentation to supp...
