I really hope that you get somewhere even if it is just fior them to admit they dealt with this in the completely wrong manner as this is completely unfair and anyone would hate to be accused of doing something they haven't done!

Agreed we had 2 more redunancies here 2 weeks ago - cut backs are happening even a few months later!

That is horrendoud - definately demand an explanation! How can they hold it against you just because someone has the same name!

Im sure there are many people out there who share a name - this means nothing!

I agree daily job alerts are great and ensure you are kept informed and dont miss a thing!

Its easier to keep tabs on whats happening out there at the moment as well!

I think its stupid to be honest there are British people everywhere around the world working and no one wants to kick them out!!!! We take the jobs where we can at the end of the day! It should be ok for anyone anywhere otherwise people just get really petty!

They will mor elook at the fact that you lied than anything else!

I would try other countries too as the pharma industry is wide spread - people are losing jobs more than getting jobs here right now so be careful with your decisions and good luck :)

Yep they do - If your contracting in the UK I would advise using an Umbrella company that way you will take more home. I used Atlantic Umbrella and found them to be great :)

I know someone who applied and got it early - it must deoends on your circumstances or as drjabberwocky23 has put it the individual dealing with your case.... Its worth a shot either way :D
