Re: British Citizenship for child born to non British partner abroad

What happens if the father gets his ILR/citizenship after a child is born abroad to a non uk resident? Someone I know has been abandoned as well in India. Her daughter was born in India. She also came to the UK and lived with the husband and went back to give birth and since has not returned. Child ...

Re: Right to work while ILR in appeal

I tried using that employer verification service as an employer and it came back as this person does not have the right to live or work in this counrty and I am scared that he might lose this opportunity if the prospective employer gets the same reply.

Right to work while ILR in appeal

Hi, I am the main applicant who have got ILR, my children are British Citizens who were born here. My partner did not get his ILR because of a caution he apparently didn't declare, but there was no option for declaring cautions. It only asked for criminal convictions. His ILR was refused last year b...

Re: Actual Salary Vs SOC Code Salary

I just got my ILR based on 5 yr WP in Feb. My employer also mentioned what my SOC code was and how much I was making per year based on how many hours per week. It also said that it was more than the SOC code. No breakdown was given. I got my ILR without any problem. It's good to mention that the sal...

Latest date to apply for ILR or any Visa

I have a feeling I may have made a blunder! If the DOB is unknown then they can fill 01 JAN 1900.

I did this while filling up my parents applications and its mentioned in the guidelines as well.

Hope this helps.

Re: ILR Success - 5 year WP - Cardiff PEO

This SOC letter is for the 5 yr work permit. But I am guessing can be used for any application that requires SOC code. I decided to have the annual leave mentioned in my SOC letter because I ticked option in section 6.3 in the SET(O) form that says: Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for w...
