anything like Tier 1 workpermit

wondering if there is a visa similar to Tier 1 Visa Of UK for any of the Schegen countries..
I mean to say.. can I apply for a work permit without having a company to sponsor the visa ?

as far as i know passport and appointment letter should be..
however i applied before april 1st ..i dont think there are any changes with regards to this after april 1st..check their website.

Am not sure of how things work in this ...

but this is what I wonder..

since one doesnt get paid for Voluntary work ..shouldnt that be independent of the Visa status in the country..

am on work visa in US.. i volunteer every saturday ..no one asks for my legal status...atleast here..

Rajesh I think thats pretty normal..in the US, people graduate after 1 year of the course completion ... There was a similar post from someone in India that he got his MCA degree like after 2 years. to just get married why do you need a Tier 1...??
Tier1 is for highly skilled people ..who want to work in the UK..
may be visitor visa or a fiancee visa could work ??
or may be consider getting her to the US a visitor and then marry her here ..and then convert to H4 ..

yes am wiht HSBC but in the US..still can give u inputs i have an online savings account with them i got my tier1 approved yesterday .. infact the ECO talked to me ..and he asked me the process ...how i got them stamped.. he was like "how did u get them stamped" a lot of people have trouble getting ...
