Salam Amjad, I'm assuming your mother-in-law applied in Islamabad. According to processing times guide, family visas less than 6 months take about 5-10 working days. Have a look at the pdf file in the link below: http://www.ukvacpk.com/index.aspx Just out of curiosity, did you supply bank statements...

Of course I'll let everyone know. So wait and see what I say and decide accordingly if its a good idea for your wife to go...

Hello people, ok Escoba - Easiest way to get round all problems is it get one of the utilities bill in hubby's name (gas, electric, council tax, phone). Then take the bill (proof of address) and passport (proof of id) to the GP and it should be fine. Hope all goes well I/A. I had a question for you,...

Its clear from my previous posts that I think the visa processing time is currently around 3 weeks although it says 6 weeks (30 working days) on the processing time guide. Having said that we cannot be 100% sure. At this point I would like to ask users who might not be registered and have got visas ...

Well yes it means your application is in the queue and will be looked at soon. There are two things to note here: 1) We can't be sure how long it will take from "Application forwarded to Islamabad OC" status till you get the visa 2) Not all application scans are sent to Abu Dhabi. Some are handled i...

Oh yeah thats the first status thats displayed.

I think it would be great for everyone here if you can let us know every time the status changes. It will give everyone a realistic idea of how long the settlement application processing time is.

I'll do the same.

To pdykid - You need to travel to India and apply for a new EEA Permit. This should be the same as your first EEA permit application. Don't thik that it will be easier this time so you can afford to make a weaker application. Your EEA2 Residence Card application will still continue to be active and ...
