Re: March 2015 Naturalization application timeline

Submitting Original is a MUST. Usually, when NCS copies the certificate, gives you the copy and keeps the original. Easy mistake to make is to flip it around [keep copy and give back original]!!

Send that in and you will be fine. Good luck

Re: March 2015 Naturalization application timeline

Get in touch with your local council. They should be able to advise [hope the mail isnt lost and you've missed it] or book the date. There should be a number on the letter from HO.

Fingers cross for you.

Re: Help- Unsuccessful application - good character

I am sorry to hear about your application being unsuccessful. Go to local police station and request the PNC/ACRO report, I think it costs a tenner. Basis disclosure reports dont always show everything and you can not request your own full disclosure AFAIK. Who knows what the outcome would of been h...

Re: Police caution

caution is not a conviction. You have nothing to worry about - that said, it would of been better if you had included that in additional info but just because you havent, you wont be refused.. breathe and live normally! Wrong advice. For naturalisation you must declare all cautions and convictions....

This is encouraging However, I think I have seen at least a dozen claims that a friend of somebody, or a client of some immigration lawyer, obtained a citizenship applying after 6 April, but I am yet to see a single confirmation with an actual timeline on this forum. I will believe it when I see at...

Re: Carr Accident and Naturalisation-QUESTION Reply Wanted

In one line - You are fine, you have nothing to worry about. The way it works - You have insurance company who has paid your claim out. Now, whatever case is going on in the court, is between the two insurance companies to own up to the liability. Of course, they would both blame another. Also, sinc...

Re: CCJ after Naturalisation Application

Why are you just thinking one directional, HO? Have you given it a thought of getting to the bottom of the root cause and try to fix that? If you are able to fix it, you wont have to worry - not only for HO, but for all other places/applications where you need to declare if you have ever had a CCJ. ...

Re: Speeding After application for naturalisation (AN) was s

Wait for the letter to start with. You may be a very very lucky boy - Speed awareness course is offered if you are within guideline of the force - Criteria = 1 - Legal speed limit [30 in your case] + 10% [3 in your case] + 9 = 42mph in your case. [you mentioned you were doing 41 - talk about cutting...
