yes it is ok to be in receipt of this benefit as you are entitled to claim it in your own right. When your hubby arrives all you need to do is inform them, they will put his name on the claim but you will recieve no monies for him.

Hie moma, dont worry the called me on the 13th august to say that they had overturned the decision and then i asked her how long it will take for the visa to come out and she said no more than 10 working days, although it was out after 5 working days....so fingers crossed for you...i am just gald u ...

you will recieve a letter from the AIT in a couple of weeks after you have handed your appeal in advising you that they will be scheduling the hearing and that they will write to you with that.

This is from my experience although could take longer for them to send it! :wink:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :D :lol: Oh yes I have had plenty of experience dealing with these people in Pretoria. :roll: Once they have the notification from the hearing they will process your visa....didnt have to go through the appeal although they were quite fast at issuing i think in total 6...

mattfrombann totally agree with you about Pretoria they did the same with my family....and put my children through trauma, even had one of them under the doctors for various things not to mention they put me on anti depressants and diagnosed me as having severe reactive depression!!!.....the months ...

Hi

I was working part time and in reciept of wtc and ctc.....did not show my debts and immigration advisory service advised that its was only the rent to be counted out of the money....but if you are on full benefits you will not be paying rent and council tax

ah slightly mis read what had been put here clearly...i sued the western union transaction receipts to prove i was the one supporting my hubby and that i would be able to do this on his arrival in the uk.....just for the record....and as stated you dont meet the criteria....so perhaps not the way to...

Go to the nearest Home Office (if you are in the uk) to you as i advised before...that is what i did and i spoke to someone and got an answer, simple!!!! if you can go to one of there office as they have got access to all systems worldwide
