My husband received a letter from a senior case worker today, stating that he had agreed to expediate my husbands application. I'm not quite sure if this was because my mp wrote to ukba in August, or whether it was because I wrote a lengthy email on Monday stating my concerns over the lengthy wait....

My mp emailed me today with an update, all she wrote was that ukba will contact us directly this week....what the hell is that supposed to mean!!....have they made a decision??, it's been 6 1/2 months since my hubby's application!!...super stressed.com!!!

Hi, I just basically wrote what the circumstances are and how ridiculous this is, my husbands been waiting for 6 1/2 months!!!! It's a straightforward set m checked by settlement checking service!!!

@ jimmy.....my husband submitted his bio metrics on 1st august, since then we have heard nothing.

@mcpog....your wife will have to resubmit biometrics again, my hubby also had his done for his spouse visa in 2009.
