Re: PCN - Should i declare it ?

Hi,

I have put my PCN details in Section 4.6. That's also the place where they mention PCN like parking fines.

Good luck.

Re: Can a Cubs leader be my son's referee

As per HO guidance personal addresses of referees do not have to be disclosed, ref: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/446562/Chapter_6_v5_0.pdf - see para. 6.3.7.9[/quote] Thank you but the section on Referees says something like "please put the address if you...

Can a Cubs leader be my son's referee

Hello All, I have a 12-year-old son who is now a Scout. 2 years ago he was a member of Cubs in our neighbourhood and the Cubs leader knows him well even after leaving that group. Can he be the referee? I understand for minor referees, the 3-year condition is not required although this Cubs leader kn...

Re: Do not have continuous Employment for 5 years

Hi, My unpaid leave was of never more than 2 weeks in one visit and in total they were less than what we all are allowed (which I remember is less than 60 days a year but I might be wrong). My memory might fail me or there might have been changes since last year but I can safely say that the reason ...

Re: Do not have continuous Employment for 5 years

Hello all, Had forgotten about this post which I started last year. I did get my ILR and at the time of my application, I was working part-time at various universities which normally had no work during Christmas break. I was without work when I initially came to the UK on Tier 1 and found work after...

Re: ILR success June 5 Croydon - Tier 1 (G)

Hi argus7, Thanks. I kept my documents related to only the last 12 months and there is no need to talk about something like unemployment when they haven't asked anywhere in the application or the guidance. I was carrying my P60s incase they asked but those too were only for the last year only. I com...

Re: ILR success June 5 Croydon - Tier 1 (G)

My holidays were as few as as 20 days each year. I did provide letters from the employers- both current and former . The guidance says they want evidence of even a weekend spent outside the UK so I didn't want to risk it.

ILR success June 5 Croydon - Tier 1 (G)

Hello All, I got the ILR today at Croydon. Was with my three dependents. A very pleasant and completely different experience than the one I had there at the time of my Tier 1 extension. Will not go into any experience or documents details as those were all the usual ones explained many times on the ...

Re: Do not have continuous Employment for 5 years

Hi, Referring to what we discussed a while back, I got my ILR today despite having 5 months unemployment. Guess you had something similar and there is nothing to worry about. I stayed in the UK even when was unemployed and my total visits outside the UK were of only 44 days. Let me know if you have ...

Re: New set of form page 66

Hi, I had to read this several times too. It says, " ...... leave to remain on completing five years' continuous stay MADE UP of leave as a Tier 1 ( General) AND leave as a highly skilled migrant, work permit etc. If you came on a different visa and changed it to Tier 1 ( General) then you need to s...

New form for Set (O) June 2

Those who are interested, the new form for ILR Set (O) has 75 pages rather the previous 60 pages ( April 14 form) and the changes for Tier 1 ( General) are just minor changes in the layout. The space for putting the details of income for each source has changed. I do not know of changes for other ca...

Hello All,

On my kids Pakistani passports, I don't know if I as their parent can sign on the page which has the space for the passport holder's signature. My kids are 11 and 6 year old.

Thanks.

Hello:

Ref: ILR Set(O)

I have online payslips which have been stamped and signed by the Payroll Manager. Do I still need to provide supporting letter from the employers?

Thanks.

Re: Impact of covering letter on application

A 9 on page 28 of Set (O) refers to putting extra information about income on the covering letter. It seems they do read it when you give one provided it is giving extra information to clear any ambiguities.

Hello: Need advice regarding Section 5 - Your Home and Finance I am showing, with evidence, the annual employment income of £40,000. However since I work on contract basis at different institutes, I do not get a fixed regular salary and it varies every month. As in 5.2 they are asking what my monthl...
