Re: Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI)

Many thanks Mahesh for the Twitter idea! - indeed worth trying.

I have sent query e-mail and now will tweet to MEA / Shushmaji as well. I happen to hold respect for MEA after recent Yemen evacuation etc.

Re: English requirement - naturalisation application

Thanks for reply. I have requested NARIC to consider atleast B1 equivalent certificate for the degree. For original application, I uploaded transcript including university statement stating that course was taught in English and UK NARIC has confirmed that in their letter. Let us see what reply I get!!

Re: English requirement - naturalisation application

Thanks members for reply.

No points in PBS Calculator.

Also, one need only B1 equivalent and not C1 for the naturalisation - NARIC can confirm that it does not meet C1 level but no mention of any other level !!

Signature box not printed in OCI A form

Hi,

I opened OCI form in Google Chrome browser.

On printing, there is no signature box on the form and they clearly mention that signature/thumb impression must be in the centre of the form.

What could I do now?

Many thanks for your guidance in advance.

Hi, I am going to apply for naturalisation after 5 year tier 1 + 1 year ILR. I was told to fill AN1 form by local nationality checking service. However, on UKBA website only form AN is available. Is it AN form or AN1 form? If AN1, can anyone please post link to download form. Many thanks and regards,
