Re: Place and Date of Issue on BRP

Thanks for replying. She got ILR with me. The only thing is that I can apply after 1st of April 2015. But I believe she can't because Her date is 16th of April. Is this assumption correct? The validity of the card is 1st of April 2024 though, Not 16th, which is the issue date of the card. My issue a...

Place and Date of Issue on BRP

Hi, I got my ILR on 1st of April at PEO. My wife didn't receive the BRP card same time as me and she received it with a "Date and Place of Issue" 2 weeks after mine. Does this mean she will have to wait for HER 12 months to complete and can't apply at the same time as me becuase Her date and place o...

Re: Lloyds TSB refuses to stamp printed statments

Some branches will agree to that, like the one I went to in Central London. I knew they wouldn't but I took a chance and there was no concern. You have ample time to order yours today to get it before your appointment. If you dont' get them, you can go to branch and kick up fuss saying you ordered t...

Re: ILR APproved at PEO Croydon - 1st April

Hi suryavaddi I didn't have Any UK NARIC Letter. I submitted originals (no transcript) which were returned to me. My degree as well as my wife's appear on PBS Calculator. When to make the application and other Questions!

Hi, I received my ILR couple of days back and since everything is fresh, I thought I might as well ask for a bit of information regarding naturalisation. My ILR application was straight forward and me and my wife will be completing our 5 years in the UK on 1 Nov this year, so first caveat is OK. 2nd...

Urgent: PCN Declaration. Appt on Tuesday

Hi, I know this has been covered at length but sometimes you just need it for peace of your mind. I had a bus lane and wrong parking time/bay fine to pay to local authorities. I know they aren't criminal conviction since I paid them soon after receiving them. Question is: Is it ok to declare them on...

English test requirement - Do I require equivalence?

Hi, I've got an appointment booked for April and I have a question regarding English test. My wife has a degree from an Australian University and the University name appears on the calculator from UKBA. Does this mean that the degree on its own will suffice? Or will I need the equivalence cert from ...

Re: ILR - PEO Next month

Thanks for the quick reply dk2011. Really appreciate it.

My only concern was getting 1 bill for period of 2 years i.e. 1 paper bill dated from Jan 2012 to March 2014 - is that going to be a concern?

We've both taken LITUK test a while back. I had listed the sticking points.

ILR - PEO Next month

Hi, I will be going for an appointment next month and have a few questions about the cohabitation documents. 1. Added my wife's name to electricity and gas account - getting back dated letters from provider under our names 2. Letter from HO for successful T1 application addressed to both of us at sa...

Re: visa procssing times

Thanks for all the info, shaina322, it was helpful. Today I got the decision from the judge (the appeal was granted), it took them five weeks !! It’s very annoying but at last I got the letter. I have a question for shaina322 or anyone who can answer: how long does it take from the moment you get...
